Scale Up Generator
We've partnered with Engine Shed and West of England Growth Hub to produce a dynamic map of scale-up clusters in the UK.
Engine Shed wanted to build upon scale-up.cluster-map.com with an improved mobile friendly UI, clearer categories and additional content.
If all website builds were as straight forward and enjoyable as the Scaleup Generator, I’d make one every week. The Rocketmakers team showed real user understanding and ambition for the site and ultimately created something really valuable.
Partnering with West of England Growth Hub, their goal was to create a business tool for analysing the scale-up ecosystem in Bristol and Bath, pulling in data from Google and Companies House.
For the Scale-Up Generator UI Design we decided on a mobile first approach to ensure that the application would scale down to suit all hand held devices. We also agreed on a flat and minimal UI style, similar to modern news websites to simply frame the content rather than distract from it.
